1. Tai chi was more effective than brisk walking in reducing levels of blood pressure, blood glucose,
and glycated haemoglobin and in sustaining
these positive effects at 9 months among Chinese
adults with cardiovascular risk factors.
2. Exercise-only interventions without diet modification was not as effective as a combination of both in regulating blood lipid profiles and lowering the body mass index.
