1. An 8-week Chinese calligraphy writing course
improved working memory and delayed recall memory in older adults with
mild cognitive impairment.
2. To a lesser extent, the training also improved attention control, visual scan, and processing speed functions.
3. Further research is needed to confirm the efficacy of the intervention, particularly beyond 8 weeks. The training has potential to be adopted by service providers for day-to-day use in Hong Kong.
