1. Implementation of patient empowerment
intervention has potential influence on self-efficacy in illness
management, favouring self-management behavioural outcomes and enhancement
of functional recovery in post-stroke patients.
2. The health empowerment intervention for stroke self-management can be conducted in parallel with the existing ambulatory stroke rehabilitation services and gave added value in sustaining stroke self-management and functional improvement in the longer term.
